0.45% NaCl (Half Normal Saline):

   
   

[Hypotonic] 154 mOsm/L.  Like your patient’s Na/Cl levels, but don’t care for the low volume status?  Rehydrate with this solution to keep the Na/Cl stable.  Its hypo-tonic, so it doesn’t have enough muscle [tone] to keep the water behind the dam, so too much, and you’ll flood the tissues and the cells (a.k.a. - edema).
