mOsm/L. Plasmanate is a 5% solution
that includes a variety of plasma proteins including 44g/L of Albumin.
It is made from human plasma, is expensive and carries risks similar to
pooled blood products. It must be given at a rate of less than 10cc/min to prevent
hypotension (I have no idea why, but it’s a fact).
