LEVEL TWO HANDGUN .......Return to Index

We consider our intermediate level 18 hour class the ABSOLUTE MINIMUM for anyone who intends to carry a hand- gun for defense.

Students must have already taken our Level One Handgun class as Level One has established the legal base and Level two concentrates on techniques of safe gun handling and marksmanship. IN THIS CLASS YOU SHOOT A LOT!

Also required is a valid Washington State Concealed Pistol Permit or letter of reference from an attorney, sheriff or police chief. These WILL be checked.

Topics covered include Cooper and Ayoob's standing positions plus kneeling and prone, tactical and speed reloading malfunction causes and clearing and one-hand shooting using either hand. Multiple targets, use of cover and dealing with Law Enforcement are also discussed. Students may use their own handgun or rent one of ours for a nominal fee. Students must furnish 600 round of suitable ammunition, appropriate secure BELT holster with covered trigger area, two speed loaders or magazines and pouches for them.

Students must successfully complete a standard security/police course of fire with a 75% minimum score to obtain their certificate of completion. Cost $145.00.

Requirements for our advanced 18 hour class are a Level Two certificate, a valid concealed Pistol Permit and the same equipment and ammunition requirements a Level Two.

This is a high-stress class covering advanced tactics, gunhandling and marksmanship wherein the student's decision making processes are continually being challenged.

Emphasis is on fast, accurate fire. Topics include hostage taking and include taking criminal suspects into custody at gunpoint.

The course of fire that students must qualify on is considerably more difficult than the average police department course in terms of both speed and accuracy. Cost $145.00.

YEARLY REQUALIFICATIONS .......Return to Index

Students are encouraged to keep their skills and knowledge updated and documented at least once each year.

Except for our Introduction to Military Firearms class, retakes of ALL classes are at HALF PRICE, always. Handgun qualifications may be attempted at ANY level the shooter feels they can qualify on, but of course, they must qualify with the minimum score allowable.

We always look forward to seeing familiar faces in our classes. COST: $45.00

Basic rifle marksmanship, sight alignment, trigger pull and various positions are practiced. Choice of rifle and ammunition are covered, as well as sling systems, optical and "dot" sighting systems. Differences between urban and suburban employment are detailed.

Students spend about 12 hours in the classroom, with 3 hours at the indoor range shooting pistol caliber carbines. We move to an outdoor facility to shoot the rifle caliber carbines. Students may bring their own rifle or rent one of ours at a nominal cost. Smaller statured men and women are encouraged to attend; the recoil won't affect you.

This highly educational 18 hour class is devoted to the ultimate: thirty caliber plus rifles. Prerequisite is a Tactical Carbine and Rifle certificate. Various styles and actions are covered, along with ammunition vari- ances and optical sight choices.

Please bear in mind these rifles recoil SIGNIFICANTLY MORE than the .223"s. Lightly built men and women may attend, but may find the shooting portion a bit more than they bargained for. All students are encouraged to bring a shoulder pad. The company provides six rifles worth $12,000 for examination and brief familiarization firing. Students may provide their own rifle or rent one of ours. Due to the difficulty in handling these firearms, classes are kept small so that we can pay more individual attention to each stu- dents needs.

Ammunition requirement is 240 rounds. Please call with any questions. COST: $275.00

INDOCTRINATION TO MILITARY FIREARMS .......Return to Index

Our ultimate class requires only a Level One Handgun prerequisite and is designed for the young man or woman preparing to enter military service. This 40 hour plus class is structured to fully acquaint the stu- dent with virtually EVERY firearm the student will encounter in the military service. COMBLOC firearms found overseas are also covered. The ENTIRE collection of our company's firearms are available to the student and is included in the class cost.

Realizing that a soldier or Marine's life can well depend on their skill with arms; precise, aimed fire is em- phasized. Night fire classes are also taught, both with and without our U.S. MILSPEC night vision gear. At the end of this grueling, one week class, students will also be able to fieldstrip, clean and maintain every rifle, shotgun and pistol that they have fired. A brief history of each firearm is also taught.

As far as we know, our company is the ONLY one in the U.S. that provides this service. We will teach a single student, to a maximum of four, and have found a "BUDDY SYSTEM" seems to work best. Stu- dents provide all ammunition. Please call for specifics on this very challenging course. COST: $1,500.00

Tactics for this class are aimed at civilians who carry a gun for self-defense and should be taken by anyone who carries a gun.

Police and Security Officers should take our Holstered Handgun and Retention class listed under "Security Officer Classes."

Retakes of this class are free within one years time. All other retakes are at half-price. That's how important we consider this class. Of course, this is one of our highest "re-take" classes. COST: $75.00
