Located about midway between the Ballard Locks and Golden Gardens. If interested, you could make a day out of this expedition. Plan on seeing lots of different watercraft. Numerous liveaboards. An active community administered to by the Port of Seattle.
Some of these photo's will show signs that you will view as you travel between the Locks and Shilshole. Plan on seeing lots of restaurants, marine dealers, etc.
If inclined to do so, park your car near the locks, and visit Shilshole and Golden Gardens on foot or bicycle. Enjoy your stay!!
