A popular place. Especially during the summer, and when the salmon are returning to spawn. Can get really crowded during Seafair week with boaters transiting to the hydroplane races. Served by four different Metro bus routes. A good place for a picnic. During the summer months, there is a Sunday afternoon concert series.

Bike riding is NOT allowed. You'll need to walk it through.

Like numerous other Seattle attractions, it's FREE!!
