How to Apply

Complete an application packet and obtain a valid typing certificate. Applications will be accepted anytime throughout the year and will be held until our next recruiting cycle. Applications will be accepted in person, by fax, mail, or e-mail. Important: a fully completed application packet is required along with a valid typing test. Incomplete application materials will be rejected. A resume or other document is not a sufficient application.

Effective August 1, 2009, a typing certificate from a school or employment agency will be required before the SNOPAC testing process is scheduled. All applicants must obtain and submit a valid typing certificate with the required speed of 40 WPM with 98% accuracy. Each of these conditions must be met in order for the typing certificate to be considered valid (on line typing tests will not be considered). Below is a list of locations where candidates can obtain a valid typing certificate (other locations are available). Please check with these agencies before testing to ensure testing is still being administered.
