Open Appointive PositionsSystems Support SpecialistQualified candidates will have demonstrated experience working in a technical help desk position. Candidates must have experience with network equipment, PC and server maintenance, routine maintenance of peripherals, master database inventories and the ability to perform system, server and PC backups. Experience in a Public Safety environment preferred. Screening ProcessThe SNOPAC screening process for appointive positions is a review of submitted materials, followed by an initial interview of selected candidates. Depending upon the position, you may be required to demonstrate competency in certain areas, for example typing, writing, or specific technical competency. Finalists may be invited to subsequent levels of interview. Successful candidates may receive a job offer conditional on the successful completion of the background and criminal history checks, a psychological examination, and hearing and drug screening. The majority of the insurance premiums are paid for by SNOPAC. Some plans may require partial premium payments by employees.
