Public safety communications in the 911 environment is fast paced
and complex. SNOPAC staff is placed in a highly visible position of
trust and responsibility. It requires a special commitment to demonstrate
visible evidence of professionalism and a desire to follow lawful policy and
procedure. SNOPAC staff is held to very high professional, ethical, and
moral standards.

Employment Opportunities

Apply For Information Specialists (9-1-1 Call Takers)
and Dispatchers Positions
SNOPAC generally accepts applications at any time for entry level
and lateral transfer Information Specialist (911 Call-Taker) and Dispatcher
positions, however these applications will be reviewed at set intervals throughout
the year. Training sessions may be conducted several times throughout
the year. SNOPAC is a Closed Union Shop. Enrollment in the Association
of SNOPAC Employees is a requirement of employment within the bargaining
unit. Benefits for these positions are set by negotiated contract.

Staff Positions (No positions open at this time)
SNOPAC accepts applications for administrative and technical openings
when advertised. These are appointive positions with a benefits package
separate from those applicable to positions governed by the Association of
SNOPAC Employees.
