Employment Overview

Public safety communications in the 911 environment is fast paced and complex. SNOPAC staff is placed in a highly visible position of trust and responsibility. It requires a special commitment to demonstrate visible evidence of professionalism and a desire to follow lawful policy and procedure. SNOPAC staff is held to very high professional, ethical, and moral standards.

Apply For Information Specialists (9-1-1 Call Takers)
and Dispatchers Positions

SNOPAC generally accepts applications at any time for entry level and lateral transfer Information Specialist (911 Call-Taker) and Dispatcher positions, however these applications will be reviewed at set intervals throughout the year. Training sessions may be conducted several times throughout the year. SNOPAC is a Closed Union Shop. Enrollment in the Association of SNOPAC Employees is a requirement of employment within the bargaining unit. Benefits for these positions are set by negotiated contract.
