Conveyor was broken and Hertz sent out a mechanic.  Excavator was unusable.  Directed Nelson to finish excavation and pile dirt on sidewalk.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;RM mobilized forms and relocated some of MLF forms. Short conversation with one of the surveyors confirmed my property lines and corners abutting his property were exactly on proper locations.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Charter Construction working across 25th Ave from job site.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Terhune Construction working across 25th Ave to the north of job site&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;JR Landscaping working landscaping driveway at skinny houses to north of jobsite&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ol&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Todays work&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;Contacted (email) Harriot Engineers and E.Cobb to determine return wall structural requirements, dimensions and layout.  Jahan with HE responded with written description and will issue sketch once stamped by PE.  Josh with E.C responded with height and length along sidewalk.  Final wall height will be 6' from top of sidewalk.  Height may decrease at south end to allow steps to start climbing slope sooner thus creating a more architecturally interesting stair.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Geotech (Rob Ward) came by for excavation inspection and provided report.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Approximately 12 trucks loaded out.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Second conveyor from Hertz rentals broke after several hours.  Motor cracked off gear housing.  Another loss of time from bad equipment.  Nelson continued digging lower hill grade beam.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Purchased sump pump to drain lower hill deep footing.  Springs out of hill filled hole to depth of 6" over the weekend.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Rebar ordered from Valley Supply (Mike) with bent bar and straight delivered on Wed this week.
