What can we say to do Meg's
justice? We all think the world of this dog, and she easily has us
wrapped around her little . . . paw. She also has many outside
admirers, more so now that she has been showing and trialing in so many
interesting places this year. It's the running joke in our household
that Meg is better-traveled and certainly more famous than any of us.
There are few dogs that exemplify the versatile characteristics of the
Aussie so well as Meg does. We
are forever grateful to Robyn Johnson-Garrett of
Temptation Aussies,
Utah, whose thoughtfulness and dedication to the versatile Aussie benefit
us every day through Meg!

About Meg & Her Pedigree:
Meg is 19.5" tall and 43 lbs, a dark red tricolor, amber eyes, moderate coat and bone. She has lovely, efficient movement and a wonderful (but persuasive) personality. She is easy to have around the house, but more than eager to go when it's time to play. In 2002 she gave us a litter by CH Fairoaks Smokey Lonesome and in 2004 gave us a litter by WTCH Mistretta's Painted Lizard RTDs DNA-CP. For more information, see our Puppies page.
Meg is from the one and only litter out of "Bug" by "Ti". Both parents were awarded Hall of Fame status from the merits of these puppies. Meg's litter includes 4 working trial champions (WTCHs) & numerous performance titles. Meg and 2 others are pointed in show. Meg and her siblings follow the long tradition of versatility in their Pedigree.

Josie and Meg . . . a girl's best friend.
Meg is my sister Josie's dog. She started out as a Junior's dog and has many successes in ASCA Junior Stockdog and Showmanship classes. Intense, motivated, and loyal, she was an awesome Junior's dog for Josie. Jan Wesen has given much support to Josie along the way, and finished Meg's training on stock (2003-2004).
Get it!Nutmeg LOVES to fetch, and will always bring a ball back - the same ball thrown! At the dog park she leaves the retrieving breeds in the dust.
Photo Courtesy Bruce Garrett / OnederdogMeg is a keen and instinctive worker with a strong sense of balance and ability to control the head. As a Started Dog her energetic style displayed raw talent, but with training she has gained focus and persistence. She finished her Started Sheep title, one "leg" towards Started Ducks, AHBA Junior Herd Dog, and several Junior Stockdog awards with Josie handling. Jan Wesen has finished her WTCH and Obedience CD titles. At the 2003 ASCA National Specialty she placed 13th in the Most Versatile Aussie competition.
