Tubbs
May 25, 1988 to August 2, 2005
I had Tubbs, my cat, put to sleep Tuesday evening. She
was 17. Her kidneys were no longer up to the task and
she was pretty miserable. I brought her home from the
Vet in the afternoon and we were able to spend a while
to say our goodbyes. I think it meant a lot to the both
of us.
She was buried in the greenbelt that is behind my house.
She will be close to the home where she spent most of her
life.
Her sister, Crockett, survives Tubbs.
I adopted Crockett and Tubbs as kittens from the Humane
Society in August of 1988. At first, I was only going to
get Crockett, as I had planned to get one kitten. But
somehow I ended getting both of them and what a blessing
it has been to have Tubbs. As I have lived alone for most
of their lives, they have been my best buddies and constant
companions. I have learned a lot about loving and being
loved from Tubbs.
Rest in Peace, Tubbs. I will miss you greatly.
Love,
-randy
Yippee! Being a kitten is fun!
Yikes! I'm already middle-aged!
Blah! This "Active-Maturity" cat food is for the birds!
Rest in Peace, Tubbs.
