In the beginning, there was the omniscient, the omnipotent, and omnipresent, and they named you..but soon after, the child's eyes opened and saw that they were only human. Even so, after the fall, the search eventually began to find the omniscient, the omnipotent, and the omnipresent God, the original creator, provider, and progenitor in God's image.
There are many paths to God. Each is as valid as another, which is why any path tends to be tolerated since children see children without prejudice. Yet, prejudice increases with the distance one makes away from the child within them. So it is, when one path claims to be the 'one and only,' and under that banner becomes imperialistic, if not altogether fascist, and war is declared and conducted by ideological imperialism or by outright violence and destruction. War is waged by the most desperate, by those who are the most distant from the child within themselves..the most desperate to retrieve Him and Her, Him, or Her, the God they knew in their beginning.
