Program:  Over the years we have been involved with several un-ducted fan propulsion studies.   The primary benefits of UDF applications are near jet speeds with turbo-prop efficiencies.  The Arrow program, pictured at the top of the "Gallery" page, is one such outgrowth of the configurational studies, as are the two concepts above.

The airplane at left is a twin engine UDF, capable of seating ten in a business class cabin.  Cross country speeds (economy) were on the order of Mach .78, while top speed is anticipated to be in the Mach .84 range.  Range, with IFR reserves, was anticipated to be in excess of 2,500 miles.

A smaller aircraft was also studied (pictured at right) for an individual who was interested in entering such a configuration in the Reno air races.  The airplane's performance potential would have also suited it for use as a high performance trainer, possibly as a first step to jet certification.

Status:  The principal behind the programs passed away some time back and neither program has, as of yet, been resurrected.
