Spokane, WA - Christie Dalsanders, the head women's golf coach for the Community Colleges of Spokane, has been named the 2008 LPGA Western Section Coach of the Year.

Coach Dalsanders has been the head women's golf coach for the Community Colleges of Spokane for the last six years.

Under her helm the CCS women have won four NWAACC Championships and finished second twice. Dalsanders has been named the NWAACC Coach of the Year the last five out of six years.

Under Coach Dalsanders, the Community Colleges of Spokane's women's golf team has won the Eastern Region six consecutive times and have tallied a 70-2 league record.
