Tacoma, WA - Head coach Heidi Collier begins her first season leading the Titan Lady Basketball Program. A native of Blaine' Washington Heidi attended Whatcom Community College' on a basketball scholarship. While at Whatcom she helped lead the Orcas to a Regional championship and a first time NWAACC Tournament appearance' resulting in a fifth place finish.
After completing her AA' Heidi continued her basketball career at George Fox University for one year' before transferring to the University of Puget Sound for her final season. Heidi was part of the 2003-04 Logger team that made the first trip to the NCAA III National Tournament. The Loggers advanced to the Elite Eight before falling to the National Champion. In 2005' Heidi earned her BA in Liberal Arts from Evergreen State College' Tacoma Campus.
Collier has coached basketball in variety of settings; AAU' middle school boys and girls' worked camps' and was an assistant coach at Stadium High School for the 2006-07 season. She has also coached middle school volleyball' high school fastpitch and was the Athletic Director at Chief Leschi Schools for the 2006-07 school year.
Coach Collier's focus for this upcoming season is to build a team of successful student athletes. She is enthusiastic about sharing her passion for the game of basketball and connecting the diverse group of student athletes as a team. Heidi trusts this will create a foundation which will revive the Titan Women's basketball program.
