Columbia Basin and Lower Columbia remain at the top of the Horizon Air / Coaches Poll

Vancouver, WA - The Columbia Basin Hawks (3-0, 21-3) hold the top spot in the baseball poll for the second consecutive poll while the Skagit Valley Cardinals (2-0, 13-1) move into second.  The Mt Hood Saints (2-1, 9-3) also move up one while the Lower Columbia Red Devils slip form second to fourth this week.  Green River and Spokane make their 2009 top eight poll debut in the seventh and eighth spots.

The Lower Columbia Red Devils (0-0, 9-1) and Mt. Hood Saints continue to dominate the top of the softball poll.  The Red Devils collected 80 points including all eight first place votes while the Saints picked up 59 points to out distance The Bellevue Bulldogs who come in at number three with 38 points. The Bulldogs made the biggest leap in the poll this week as the moved up from 6th in the March 17th poll. East Region rivals Spokane Sasquatch (5-1, 15-3) and the Wenatchee Valley Knights (4-2, 13-4) tied for the fourth spot.
