By noon, thousands of people had visited the center.

notes of condolences,
flags and prayers for healing.

[Seattle Memorial picture 9] [Seattle Memorial picture 10] By Tuesday night, the Memorial Fountain was filled with over 1 million flowers.

Next year, the Seattle Center will open a new memorial garden. One that will bring joy from the tears of these flowers.
