1942 Farmall H

Here is a few pictures of my 1942 H before and after. I have done alot of work to this tractor, It took me about six months to bring the old girl back to near new condition. I'm still not done with her yet, I need to put one new rim on the left side, a new swinging draw bar, rework the hydraulic pump fittings, get the lights working right yet.

The day she was bought home from Monroe Washington, believe it or not we drove it onto the trailer.

I went to work taking everything off the old girl and having it sandblasted primed and later painted

I bought a plastic shelter so that I could work on the old girl while it was raining. Here you see where I had taken the front end off and was be placing the manifold, carb, belts, water pump and re-doing the pulley's, fan, I also had the radiator re-done at the same time.

Here  is a front view looking at her from the left after she was 90 percent complete.

Here another from same side only different angle, I wouldn't have thought 6 months ago she would have looked this good.

Here is a full side view along with our little dog George, one of five we have. As you can see the lights are painted black instead of red, I like the black better, but will more than likely paint them red in the future.

Here you see the old girl from the rear, now you can see why I need to replace the draw bar.
Someone has modified it, adding strength to the bottom and bolting solid the swinging bar.
