Update for Monday, November 21
Halloween was a blast this year. Our household spent an afternoon at our favorite pumpkin patch, picking out the best pumpkins. We had a friend of ours over the next day for our annual pumpkin carving festivities. Katie and Daddy really got into the spirit and you'll see that they still look so much alike! Whoever said that dots, stripes, and pumpkin faces don't go together is crazy!

Katie enjoyed dressing up as a little sweetpea. We spent the holiday visiting Julie's office and trick-or-treating at Grandma's house.

Katie is now 9 1/2 months old and has reached a few more developmental milestones. She's really good at rolling over back and forth from her tummy to her back. This past weekend she also sat up without support for a few minutes before slouching over. We're really excited to see that! Even this morning, Paul called me in to see that Katie was holding her own bottle for the first time all by herself.
Last week we went back to Swedish Hospital for Katie's neurodevelopmental assessment where she tested out as a solid six-month old in terms of mental and physical development. Our homework from the therapist is to work on developing the muscles in Katie's shoulders and arms. This will help her get the strength up to hold up her body when she starts to crawl.
That's about it for now. We're working so hard on sitting, and arm strength these days. Just look at our little girl - all suited up in her hoodie for her daily workout with Daddy!

Next update in a month!
