Welcome to our IAFC group. In a way, you can say it is a Union of Professional Film Sites and Reviewers. The goal is to continue to increase credibility of online reviewers and promote the validity of the work we do.
Members also share resources and information and help out when needed as there is strength in unity. Towards this end, the panel works with Marketing Firms, P.R. offices, Film Studios, and the Media to increase awareness of our craft and how online critcs are the vanguard of the new era in reviewing.
As such members believe that online reviews are a legit form of media and as such, should receive the same respect and considerations of our peers in other forms of media. Sites are evaluated on accuracy of information, quality of reviews, and their contributions to our craft. Layout and design are not a crteria as we are writers first not webdesigners.
There are no dues, and anyone is free to request membership.
