Comments:

Dr. Lee is the reason I started this page. I've been to more than my share of dentists, and can tell stories that would curl your toes. It was after one of these misadventures that a friend recommended Dr. Lee. I have been going to Dr Lee for several years now, as has my wife. I only wish I had learned about him earlier.

What makes Dr. Lee so good?

He is nice and does most of the stuff himself. He cleans my teeth, not his assistant (though she is nice too). He ushers me in at the start and walks me to the reception area at the end. He explains everything. The only things his assistant does are x-rays and the end of appointment cup of mouth wash and new toothbrush. Dr. Lee often sets up my next appointment himself. When you go to see Dr. Lee, you see Dr. Lee.

He is fast. Most of my check up appointments are 25 to 30 minutes door to door. Unbelievably fast. No one I know wants to live in a dentist's chair, but a lot of dentists will park you in a chair while they go do something else. When I go to Dr. Lee, things are done efficiently and quickly. Even the harder, longer stuff seems to go relatively quickly. He values my time.

Quality of work. Dr. Lee put on some new caps a few years ago that cleared up a chronic gum infection. While some of this may be the “march of technology”, he did the job well and the new caps have been great compared to the old ones.

No unnecessary dental work. Yes I do have a couple of crooked, but functional, teeth. No I don't want major orthodontia. Unlike other dentists, he hasn't pushed that option at all.

No unnecessary pain. He is good at making sure you don't feel stuff you don't have to. Between that and being quick, going to the dentist stops being a source of dread. You know it won't consume your day, much less your thoughts. It might actually be sort of fun. I always make my next appointment before I leave Dr. Lee's office, because I'm actually looking forward to it.
