Associated Clubs

Queen’s Own policy is to help new clubs get started not to expand our club.
Publishing rule books and administering events, developing the game is difficult. It
is a very daunting task for a new organization. We have covered a lot of ground
over the years and have gained lots of knowledge. By sponsoring new clubs in an
associated status we can grow the hobby faster thusly increasing the quality of
competition and enjoyment.

The requirements are as follows:

1. Associated clubs must have one Queen's Own regular member.

2. Must make it clear in web pages or by other means they are an Independent
Scale Model Warship Club associated with the Queen's Own. As long as the clubs
maintained the basic construction and appearance standards they could display the
QO Crest. Other sections of the rule book can be amended to suite local conditions.

The Benefits are:

1. Associated club members may participate in regular QO events, but must first
must have approval from our Frequency Control Officer.

2. Open transfer of gun technology and QO member discounts for some parts
and services.
