Greetings, my friends! This past year has been an eventful
one --
teaching at Cornish College of the Arts, arranging choral music for the
Evergreen Singers, concert dates on the West Coast (as far north as
Victoria, B.C. and as far south as the Bay Area) and teaching at
California Coast Music Camp and Puget Sound Guitar Workshop this
summer. It's great to be out playing again and seeing my
longtime
friends.
I'm also very happy to
release the
recording of my choral piece, "Songs from the Dao De Jing": A
live recording of The Esoterics' performance, August 13th, 2005, at St.
Joseph's Catholic Church in Seattle. (conducted by The
Esoterics'
founding director, Eric Banks, with Kevin Johnson, piano,
Matthew
Kocmieroski & Rob Tucker, percussion, and Warren & Ting
Ting
Chang, erhu and zhonghu) See
Discography
for more
information or listen to an excerpt at
MusicSamples.
Other new features include
a recent
interview and some live performance shots by my favorite photographer,
Marc Hoffman. Thanks for visiting here!

blessings and peace to you
all!
March 18 announcements: A new choral arrangement:
"You and I Are Waiting", a song about peace and justice, which some of
you might remember as a solo piece on the "Body English" recording, is
now
available as a choral arrangement for acapella SATB. Also, Linda's choral
piece, "Guang", will be performed by The Esoterics at their 15th
anniversary concerts in April! It's quite an honor to be included in
the program. Go to the
Esoterics website to find out concert details. There you'll also find a recorded
interview with Linda about her composing.
