The tundra at Denali National Park, AK in late August and early September is teeming with color. The cloud brings suspense and drama to the image. Below are some of the Wildlife which roam the Tundra and other landscape images.

Mt. St.Helens in Washington State maintains a serene quality during the
re-birth of surrounding vegetation.

While trekking towards Annapurna
Sanctuary, in Nepal, the Himalayan Range is almost always in view; Machapuchare
emerges with Alpenglow as a cloud dances overhead.

Meeting the friendly Nepalese people is a highlight of trekking in
Nepal, seeing them on the trails, doing their business, or the children
playing near their homes, walking to school or doing chores.
Desert winds in Death Valley
Ca. sculpt the dunes, and emulate the human form.
The Painted Hills, in Oregon's John Day Fossil Bed area present a palette of colors to choose from for this abstract.

Wa. I used selective focus with the splashy purples to frame the image.

and add color to the garden at various times of the growing season.
Nesting Mute Swan
Mute Swans reside in the Pacific Northwest in Washington State,
and Trumpeter Swans can be seen in large numbers when they migrate
to the Skagit Valley in the Winter.
