Latest News
  • My Celtic-fusion/rock bagpipe/drum-kit band Nae Regrets played Northwest Folklife 2008, including a stage show, all to great public response.
  • My live CD "Sanctuary I" has surpassed its one-year-aniversary. I made "Sanctuary I" in 8 days, dedicated to my mom & released Mother's Day 2007. See my merchandise page for details, copy ordering or download, or go to my official MySpace profile to download.
  • I have a limited quantity of jam sessions with percussionists CDs and DVDs available via my merchandise page. One of these is currently included with every copy of Sanctuary I -- when they're gone, they're gone!
  • February 2007 I completed a contribution to the Greek metal band Dol Amroth's album "Around Europe In Ten Songs" -- copies should be available soon!
  • My playing progress is going well.  I've been working with a few instructors who have indicated that I'm close to being ready to record.  My aim is to have my fingers ready around Fall'08. Intending to make more demos and I may add a 13th or 14th track to my album. Looking to buy portable recording gear soon.  Release goal is Memorial Day weekend 2009 or earlier.
  • Enjoying working with John Cunningham Memorial Tartan Pipes & Drums, the pipe band I co-founded June 2006; we had a great time playing the City of Edmonds annual 4th of July parade 2006/'07/'08 -- looking forward to 04.07.09! Rehearsal schedule resuming Sept'08.
  • I currently have concepts for a total of 10 albums -- good thing I'm keeping notes.  I've also been thinking of other progressive projects I could also do with musician-friends -- the creative opportunities are very exciting.
  • Enjoying learning about web page design and construction, starting with the first one I built & launched -- this one in early 2007! Fantastic photos featured on this site, taken early February 2007 by photographer AndyL -- one will probably be used on the cover of my first album!
  • Looks like I'm finally close to being back in a day-job -- *PHEW!* Day-jobs help to facilitate buying things like recording gear and new/better bagpipes for recording albums.
